Talent Development Programme (TDP)
The Talent Development Programme adopts a 3Es approach (Excite, Enrich and Excel) to provide a coherent and purposeful pathway for Primary 3 to 6 students to discover, develop and excel in their areas of strength. Through a range of MOE-initiated and school-based programmes, Anchorlites are provided with enriching opportunities to spark curiosity, deepen passion and nurture their talents. These experiences support students in developing 21st-century competencies (21CC), including Critical, Adaptive and Inventive Thinking (CAIT), as well as Communication, Collaboration and Information (CCI) skills, equipping them to grow as confident and agile learners.
For students with identified academic strengths and talents, the school provides targeted opportunities for further development, supporting them in actualising their potential. These opportunities span the academic, sports and aesthetics domains, enabling students to pursue their interests more deeply while demonstrating curiosity, creativity, resilience and excellence.
For Primary 4 to 6 students, opportunities are provided across Languages, Mathematics and Science to support the balanced development of their academic strengths. Selected students may opt to participate in a Language TDP on Mondays and/or a Mathematics or Science TDP on Tuesdays. Each programme runs for one hour, from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Anchorlites with potential in arts may participate in Art Charts on Mondays from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.

 | English Language Reading Circles (RC) Reading Circles (RC) exposes Primary 4 to 6 students to a range of age-appropriate rich texts. Through collective inquiry, students cultivate an active and inquiring stance towards reading, while strengthening their imagination, perspective-taking and empathy. |
 | English Language Wits & Words The Wits & Words Inter-School Debate Championship nurtures and challenges verbally talented Primary 5 students by strengthening their oral communication and reasoning skills. Through structured debates with peers from other schools, students learn to articulate ideas clearly, think critically and respond confidently under pressure. |

English Language Integrated Learning Lessons (ILL) Integrated Learning Lessons engage Primary 4 students in meaningful, real-world learning by integrating knowledge and skills across subjects. Working collaboratively in groups, students research, discuss and explore selected themes or topics. Through this process, they develop communication, collaboration, critical thinking and information literacy skills, while nurturing empathy and a deeper appreciation of the world around them. |

Excellence 2000 (E2K) Math Programme
E2K Math modules deepen conceptual understanding and develop important 21CC, such as critical and inventive thinking and effective communication skills. Selected modules are customised and incorporated into our Primary 4 to 6 Mathematics curriculum.

Primary Math Olympiad
The Primary Math Olympiad provides an enriching platform for Primary 5 and 6 students who enjoy mathematical challenges. It exposes them to thought-provoking, non-routine problems beyond the regular curriculum, encouraging creative thinking, logical reasoning and perseverance.

Excellence 2000 (E2K) Science Programme
The E2K Science Programme offers opportunities for Primary 4 to 6 students to engage in scientific investigations and deepen their understanding of advanced Science concepts through an inquiry approach. These rich learning experiences help students develop the habits, attitudes and dispositions of scientists. Students also strengthen important 21CC, such as critical thinking, inventive thinking and effective communication skills.

Primary Science Olympiad
The Science Olympiad challenges Primary 5 and 6 students to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts through inquiry, problem-solving and hands-on application. It nurtures curiosity and higher-order thinking as students apply scientific knowledge creatively and collaboratively to tackle complex tasks, building a strong foundation for scientific thinking and innovation.
Mother Tongue Languages
Little Reporter Programme
The Little Reporter Programme offers Primary 5 students hands-on experience in journalism through activities such as interviewing, filming, broadcasting and news writing. Students gain confidence in using their Mother Tongue Language to report on school events, while developing critical thinking, teamwork and communication skills.

ArtCharts
ArtCharts is an AGPS Talent Development Programme that nurtures Primary 3 to 6 students with strong interest and aptitude in the visual arts. The programme develops confident, reflective and socially responsible young artists who contribute meaningfully to the school and wider community through the Arts.
Physical Education
Sports Talent
The AGPS Sports Talent Programme is part of MOE’s Revised PE and Sports Development Framework, which advocates a whole-school approach to developing Anchorlites through Sports and Outdoor Education. It provides a supportive environment for students to build a strong foundation for continual growth, promoting physical, social and emotional well-being. Anchorlites are given opportunities to develop fundamental motor skills, experience a range of sports, participate recreationally and pursue competitive pathways in areas of strength. From Primary 3, students who demonstrate strong sporting talent and passion are identified by PE teachers through performance tasks and selected for sport-specific training in basketball, floorball or netball.
