Focus
The ICT Department is committed to equipping every Anchorlite with the necessary ICT skills to be future-ready in the rapid-changing world.

Key Programs
MOE-initiated:
P5 Code for Fun (CFF) The programme aims to increase students’ exposure to computational thinking and digital making and introduce them to the world of coding through engaging hands-on experiences, robotic kits, and microcontrollers.
School-based:
Touch Typing for P1 and P2
P1 and P2 students go through a series of touch-typing lessons to equip themselves with a practical and valuable tool that enhances their productivity, efficiency and comfort when working with computers and other digital devices.
Using Open-Source Tools
Students are given opportunities to enhance their learning experience using tools such as Canva, Padlet, Microsoft365 and Google Suite. They can work together or independently, creating digital products during their lessons.
Research Work
P4 to P6 students are taught the importance of online safety and plagiarism while doing research work. They are also taught how to narrow down searches and summarize their searches. Students are also exposed to age-appropriate AI websites to do their projects.
