ANCHORLITES LEADING A LIFELONG HEALTHY LIFESTYLEAGPS adopts the MOE Holistic Health Framework (HHF) as a guide to conceptualise, implement and evaluate our key programmes and processes to develop the physical, mental and social health of their students. The three guiding principles are Total Well-Being, Inclusion and Quality Delivery.
Under the Total Well-Being, ANCHORLITES go through health-related programmes within the cucurriulum as well as co-curriculum. The formal curriculum (Physical Health & Fitness) is taught alongside the PE curriculum. This is to allow students to see the connection of good healthy habits and physical activities. The school also collaborate with external partners such as the Health Promotion Board and Active SG to organise health programmes that encompasses the physical, mental and social health of students. These programmes adopt a whole-school approach (Inclusion) to ensure that every student is provided the platforms to access the knowledge, and develop the skills and attitudes to live healthily. All Physical Health & Fitness (PHF) lessons are taught by Qualified PE teachers (Quality Delivery).
