Water Education

P1 and P2 pupils have their P1 and P2 Water Education Learning Package infused in their English STELLAR curriculum this year. The P1 pupils carried it out in Term 1, learning about the significance of water in Singapore’s context as well as the importance of clean water and conservation of water in our daily lives. The P2 pupils will carry out their learning package in Term 3, with an emphasis on the importance of rain in the ecosystem, one of the avenues Singapore taps on to collect water for our consumption.

These learning packages were in tandem with Singapore World Water Day (SWWD), which is commemorated on 22 March every year. This time round, pupils were encouraged to submit photo entries of their efforts to save water – and they also submitted their written pledges as part of our school’s collective effort in water conservation.
