P3 Environmental Education Learning Journey

Anchor Green Primary School is committed to building an eco-conscious culture among the students. The P3 pupils participated in a learning journey to the Gardens by the Bay where the pupils learnt about the characteristics of living things and the classification of plants. They were also introduced to the functions of different plant parts and discovered the uses of these plant parts to Man. This learning journey also serves to further enrich their Science curriculum on Plants.

P4 Environmental Education Learning Journey

Apart from our commitment in building an eco-conscious culture among the students, Anchor Green Primary School also hopes to instill in every child to be a concerned citizen with the love for the environment. With this goal in mind, the P4 students participated in a learning journey to Gardens by the Bay where the students learnt about the importance of clean water to living organisms and tried their hand at testing the quality of the lake water. They also learnt about the interactions within the environment at the Dragonfly Lake which is incorporated with NE/SS as part of their Social Studies Curriculum. A2.jpg
